At the state level, the number of votes that need to be counted by hand is not usually a primary concern. So why are Australian Electoral Commissioners actively pursuing electronic voting? What are their primary motivations? How aware are they of the risks?
In this talk at the IT-University in Copenhagen, Rajeev Gore from the Research School of Computer Science, Australian National University, will outline the current initiatives and concerns regarding electronic voting in Australia at the state level.
